Snow is Here!

Well it’s that time again.
Yep. Waynesville has had its first snow. Nothing much to speak of; only about a half inch at my house on Balsam.
However, we will inevitably have much more snow throughout this winter.

OMHC realizes that this will impact patients ability to make scheduled appointments. It is up to you to use your good judgement and not drive if you feel it is unsafe. However, please give as much notice as possible if you must cancel. If you are snowed in the day before, go ahead and let me know so that I can possibly fill that space.

Additionally, I do house calls and have a 4wd vehicle as well as snow chains. If you are in pain, don’t hesitate to ask me about a house call. I charge an additional fee of $20 for in home treatments to cover the added time necessary to drive and set up/break down.

During these cold, snowy days it is more important than ever to take care of yourself, and that includes your acupuncture, herbal formulas, and bodywork. The cold, damp weather makes most peoples aches and pains hurt worse and moxibustion can be an invaluable aid in keeping you pain free this winter.
